Local NGO partners vet participants for paid work and training. Humans in the Loop says its programmes, including training, career counselling and access to paid work, are free to participants.

Contractor payment through partner NGOs

Payment terms

For partner-country contractors, HITL says it pays the partner NGO after an invoice, monthly or “bi-monthly”, and the NGO pays workers. Payment is based on units delivered on time and approved by a supervisor. The policy promises payment for completed work even when a worker does not stay for the whole project, and a written agreement explaining each project’s pay.
