Project payment and payout methods

Payment terms

DataForce projects may pay per task, per hour or a flat fee. Depending on location, payout options include wire transfer, PayPal, check, Tremendous gift card and Western Union. Remote-project payment terms begin after quality-check results; on-site study terms begin after successful completion.

The project announcement sets compensation and location-specific payment options. Quality checks have their own project schedule, before the payment period starts.

Advertised rate

DataForce advertises USD 628 per accepted short story of about 3,900 words for its Thyme Korean writing project, covering all stages and required revisions.

One remote project for South Korea residents with native Korean, working English and relevant education or writing experience. Payment requires a fully completed, accepted asset after quality checks. Advertised start: week of August 31, 2026; availability unverified. This is an asset fee, not an hourly rate.

Location and access

Access to projects

Remote projects may require both residence and work in one country

Official information

The Ronia RAW photo project requires contributors to live in Thailand and participate from within Thailand. The completed Asteroid India project likewise required Indian residence and participation within India.

Two examples of country-scoped data collection, not platform-wide eligibility. Asteroid was marked completed when checked. Each project has additional age, equipment and submission requirements.
