Pay
Study minimum: GBP 6 or USD 8/hour; recommended GBP 9 or USD 12/hour. Paid study hours depend on availability.
Where & terms
Eligibility uses current residence, not nationality; age over 18 and verification required. Supported-country sources conflict about Lithuania.
More where & terms

Work abroad: Studies and cashouts require you to be in your registered country of residence. Keep account details unchanged during temporary travel.

Joining
General participant onboarding starts with a waitlist, then an invitation and identity verification.
More joining

Screening: Specialized AI tasker group: invitation and a two-part assessment for selected participants. Failure does not affect the Prolific account.

Payment
PayPal cashout from a combined approved £6/$6 balance. Study rewards may be pending for up to 22 days; cashout normally arrives within 24 hours.
More payment

PayPal setup: US residents need US-based PayPal. For other residents, the page allows PayPal in their country of residence or birth, but blocked-cashout instructions require PayPal and ID to match current residence.
