Terac primarily pays through Whop, with earnings held in US dollars. Whop cashouts have a US$12.50 minimum. In the few countries Whop cannot pay, Virtual Incentives cashouts are US$5–US$2,000 each. The daily maximum across cashouts is US$10,000 and resets at midnight UTC. Moving funds from the Terac balance to the Whop payout balance is free; bank withdrawals can incur method-dependent fees shown before confirmation. Standard bank transfers typically take 1–3 business days after withdrawal.
For Terac-paid work: one-time earnings follow approval; hourly or per-task projects use their own payout schedule. A later rejection can reverse a one-time payment. The Earnings page shows the applicable payment provider. Opportunities joined through another research panel are usually paid by that panel under its terms. Whop requires identity verification before cashout, including a new check for people verified under the former provider; US individuals need an SSN for a Whop payout account. A separate Terac account-review hold can also prevent cashout and is not cleared by repeating identity verification. This does not establish a universal supported-country list or guarantee bank arrival time.
Terac’s board includes research participation alongside AI tasks: licensed nurse practitioners and physicians for in-home-assessment research, and licensed Medicare Advantage agents or brokers. A hospital-administrator/medical-director interview offers $259 for 45 minutes; a consumer study offers $20 for 20 minutes.
